Content repurposing
Rebuilding the useful idea from one piece of content for another format, audience, or channel instead of merely reposting it.

What it is
Content repurposing takes the substance of one finished piece and rebuilds it for a different format, audience, or channel. A webinar might become a short article, a sales handout, and three LinkedIn posts. The idea and evidence travel; the pacing, framing, length, and call to action change for the new setting.
Reach for it when the source contains durable research, a strong story, or an explanation that more than one audience needs. Start from the source's useful claims, then match each one to a channel where it can stand on its own and earn a specific next action.
Gotcha: copying and pasting is distribution, not repurposing. A YouTube opening cannot spend 200 words warming up, and a LinkedIn post cannot depend on slide 18 for context. Recheck rights, dates, claims, captions, aspect ratio, and calls to action every time the format changes.

Repurpose this source into a LinkedIn carousel, a 45-second YouTube Short script, a Mailchimp email, and a five-post X thread. Preserve only claims supported by the source. Give each format its native hook, pacing, context, length, and one call to action; add captions and alt text where the format supports them. Do not copy the same opening across channels. Return all four finished assets, then a traceability table mapping every claim back to the source section.
