Voronoi / cellular texture
An organic field of irregular cells built around scattered points, like cracked earth, soap foam, skin, or stained glass.

What it is
A Voronoi texture divides space into cells around scattered seed points: every location belongs to whichever seed is nearest. Drawing the cell borders creates the familiar cracked, foamy, stained-glass pattern; using distance to the seeds produces cellular or Worley noise.
Reach for it when a surface needs organic partitions, including dried mud, reptile skin, bubbles, stone, veins, or procedural mosaic pieces. Jittered seeds feel natural, while animated seeds make the cells crawl and merge.
Gotcha: evenly spaced seeds produce a tidy honeycomb, and fully random seeds can leave distracting giant cells beside tiny ones. Control point spacing, then vary edge width, fill color, and distortion instead of expecting the raw diagram to look like finished material.

Generate a tileable Voronoi cellular texture from jittered seed points. Use distance to the nearest and second-nearest seeds to draw irregular dark cell borders, vary each cell's warm fill slightly, and add a small domain warp so the result feels like cracked stained glass rather than a regular honeycomb.
