What it is

Native advertising matches the format and visual language of the place where it appears. In a news feed it looks like another card; in a marketplace it looks like another product result; on a publisher site it may look like an article. The word Sponsored above an Instagram feed post is the everyday case: same photo ratio, same typeface, same double tap. The placement fits the surroundings, but the message is still paid.

Reach for it when a standard banner would interrupt the experience or be ignored on sight. Match the surrounding typography, image ratio, and interaction pattern, then write for the same reading mode as the neighboring content.

Gotcha: blending in is about format, not hiding the advertiser. Keep a plain 'Sponsored' or 'Ad' label visible before and after interaction, and identify the brand. If the disclosure disappears into low-contrast microcopy, the ad has crossed from native into deceptive.

Ask AI for it

Create a native ad card for [brand and offer] that fits this supplied publisher card system: [design tokens and neighboring card example]. Match its type scale, spacing, image ratio, and interaction pattern with CSS `font: inherit` and the supplied custom properties, but place a high-contrast 'Sponsored' label and advertiser name above the title. Return three copy variants plus accessible semantic HTML and CSS. Keep the disclosure visible at every viewport size, and do not invent a quote, review, result, endorsement, or publisher affiliation.
