What it is
A logo suite is the complete set of approved variants of one identity, delivered together. The usual roster: primary (the default), horizontal and stacked arrangements, an icon-only or submark version, a reversed light version for dark backgrounds, and a one-color version for single-ink printing. Each one exists because some real context refuses to take the primary.
Ask for the suite at the end of any identity project, not six months later when a conference asks for a square white logo by Friday. A usable suite ships as vector masters (SVG or AI) plus flat exports (PNG, and favicon sizes), organized in folders named by use, not by file number. Pair it with a one-page sheet showing which variant goes where.
The trap is suite sprawl: twelve variants nobody can choose between, so everyone grabs whatever is on top and consistency evaporates. Six to eight well-labeled variants beats a folder of forty. The second trap is variants that drift, where the icon in the stacked version was redrawn slightly and no longer matches the primary. Every variant should derive from the same master artwork.
Ask AI for it
Generate a full logo suite from this master logo: (1) primary horizontal lockup, (2) stacked lockup, (3) icon-only submark, (4) reversed light version for dark backgrounds, (5) solid one-color black version, (6) square avatar crop safe inside a circle mask. Keep the letterforms, proportions, and icon artwork identical across all six, changing only arrangement and color treatment. Deliver each on a transparent background and label which context each variant is for.
