What it is

A co-brand lockup is the approved arrangement of two organizations' logos for one shared appearance. It fixes their order, optical size, alignment, the divider if there is one, and the clear space around the pair. Conference sponsors, product partnerships, and joint campaigns all need one because two valid logos do not automatically make a valid composition.

Reach for it when both names must receive visible credit on the same asset. Build horizontal, stacked, light, and dark versions once, then give partners the finished artwork instead of asking them to assemble it from two downloads.

Gotcha: equal height rarely means equal presence. A wide wordmark and a compact emblem need optical balancing, and either party may have a minimum-size or clear-space rule stricter than yours. Never redraw, recolor, or squeeze a partner mark to make the pair behave. Approval covers the exact lockup, not every new arrangement someone makes from its parts.

Build a co-brand lockup from the supplied [BRAND A SVG] and [BRAND B SVG] in Figma using Auto Layout. Preserve both marks exactly, balance them by optical weight rather than equal width, align their visual centers, and separate them with a 1px vertical rule. Use the larger of the two brands' required clear-space units on every outer edge. Produce horizontal and stacked versions on light and dark backgrounds, annotate the gap and divider, and test the horizontal pair at its strictest supplied minimum size. Do not invent missing clear-space or minimum-size values; flag them for approval.
