What it is

Brand collateral is the working set of artifacts that carries the identity into daily business: cards, letterhead, proposals, decks, invoices, email signatures, social templates, and event materials. It is where a visual system stops being a presentation and starts meeting customers, vendors, and staff.

Reach for collateral once the core mark, color, type, and layout rules are stable. Start with the touchpoints people use most, build proper templates, and include realistic long names, dense tables, legal copy, and black-and-white printing in the tests.

Gotcha: a folder of polished mockups is not a usable collateral system. People need editable source files, locked elements where appropriate, export instructions, and named owners. Email signatures also need live HTML and plain text, not a single image that becomes inaccessible or gets blocked.

Ask AI for it

Build a brand collateral starter set from [APPROVED LOGOS], [COLOR VALUES], [LICENSED FONTS], [CONTACT DATA], and [CONTENT SAMPLES]. Create an Adobe InDesign business card and letterhead with paragraph styles, a PowerPoint master with title, section, content, chart, and closing layouts, an editable invoice, and a table-based HTML email signature with a plain-text fallback. Package source files, linked assets, and PDF/X-4 print exports with 3 mm bleed where required. Use real long names and dense content to stress-test every template.
